Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

Crystal Clear Contracting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates https://crystalclear-contracting.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. The QuickBooks / Intuit data section below covers the private app we use with our own QuickBooks Online company. We keep this simple and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit our contact or quote form, or call or email us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and any project details you share.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site. This may include your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring links.

How we use your information

We use the information to respond to your inquiry and provide estimates, schedule and carry out work, improve our website and services, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations. We may contact you about your request by phone, text, or email.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure site traffic and performance. These tools set cookies and collect usage data as described above. You can disable cookies in your browser, or opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. If we run advertising in the future, we will update this policy to describe any advertising cookies or pixels.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example, analytics, scheduling, email, or hosting providers), and only as needed to perform those services, or when required by law.

Data retention & security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us by emailing info@crystalclear-contracting.com. You can also opt out of analytics as described above.

Children's privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

QuickBooks / Intuit data

We use a private app called CCC AIOS to connect our own QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's API. The app is for our internal use only. It is not offered to customers or other businesses. This section explains how it handles data from QuickBooks. We use this data for our own business. We do not process it on Intuit's behalf. The app's license terms are in the CCC AIOS End-User License Agreement.

  • What we access. An administrator of our QuickBooks company connects the app through Intuit's consent screen and grants only the QuickBooks accounting permission. The app can then read our customer records, estimates, invoices, payments, and financial reports such as profit and loss. Because our QuickBooks customers are the homeowners we work for, this includes their names, contact details, job addresses, and amounts billed and paid. The app does not use QuickBooks Payments or Payroll.
  • Why we use it. To run our own business: internal financial reporting (such as revenue, open invoices, and job profitability) and preparing estimates and invoices. A person on our team reviews every estimate and invoice the app creates, and nothing is sent to a customer until they approve it. We do not use the app to delete QuickBooks records.
  • AI processing. An AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic) operates the app for us. It requests data from QuickBooks and writes summaries for our owners, which are delivered in our internal team chat on Slack and Telegram. These summaries can include customer names and amounts. To do this, the relevant QuickBooks data is sent to Anthropic for processing. QuickBooks data is not used to train AI models, by us or by our AI provider.
  • No sale or sharing. We do not sell or rent QuickBooks data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. The only exceptions are the companies whose services the app runs on, as described above (Anthropic for AI processing, and Slack and Telegram for delivering summaries to our owners), and disclosures the law requires.
  • Storage and security. The app runs on a computer we control in the United States. Data it pulls from QuickBooks is kept in a reporting database on that computer, and a nightly backup copy is kept on another computer we control. Connections to Intuit use encrypted HTTPS. The tokens that keep the app connected are stored in a file readable only by the system account the app runs under, and our Intuit app credentials are kept in protected configuration, never in our code. The app's logs record technical details such as request IDs and error codes, never tokens or passwords. Access is limited to our owners and the AI assistants that run our systems for them. If we learn that QuickBooks data held by the app was accessed without permission, we will notify Intuit within 24 hours of discovering it, and notify anyone affected as the law requires.
  • Retention. We keep QuickBooks data in the app while it is connected, only as long as we need it for our reporting, and for no more than 30 days after the app is disconnected.
  • Disconnecting and deletion. An administrator of our QuickBooks company can disconnect the app at any time from the apps area of QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting in QuickBooks ends the app's access right away. You can also ask us to disconnect it by emailing us, and we will do so within one business day. Within 30 days of disconnection, we delete the stored connection tokens and the QuickBooks data the app copied into its reporting database, logs, and backups. Summaries already delivered to our owners in team chat are part of our internal business records and are not automatically deleted. Deleting the app's copy does not change anything in QuickBooks itself.
  • Deletion on request. An administrator of our QuickBooks company can ask us at any time to delete the QuickBooks data held by the app by emailing admin@crystalclear-contracting.com. We will disconnect the app and delete that data within 30 days. If you are one of our customers, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your information as described under "Your choices." We may need to keep invoice and payment records that tax or accounting law requires.
  • Contact. Questions about the app or QuickBooks data: admin@crystalclear-contracting.com.
